"Yazoo Boogaloo" is a homage to the male side of my family from Yazoo, Mississippi. These men were pivotal in my life. All that I am and some, I owe to their caring and firm guidance; loving disposition while schooling my brothers and I in life skills and how to be a man; self respect, therefore respect of others.
Yazoo is additionally a homage to the women in the family as well. they are present in the print and represent the grounding the men,boys and girls depended upon for steadfastness, warm love and spiritual guidance.
All in all this is a Love print.
